Yuriy Mynenko

Yuriy Mynenko sings in the season 2018/19 u.a. in the new production Death in Venice at the Carre Theater in Amsterdam, Polinesso in Ariodante at the Stuttgart Opera, Disinganno in Il Trionfo del Tempo and Delinganno at the Teatro Manoel, the role of Ottone in Vinci's Gismondo re di Polonia in Vienna, Gliwice, and on CD, and his Salzburg Festival debut as Aci in Porpora's Polifemo

He has worked with such well-known conductors as Kazem Abdullah, Teodor Currentzis, Alan Curtis, Marc-André Dalbavie, Paul Daniel, Dan Ettinger, Diego Fasolis, Grant Gershon, Reinhard Goebel, Simon Halsey, Roman Kofman, Andris Nelsons, Christopher Molds, Vasily Petrenko, George Petrou, Mikhail Jurowski and Vladimir Jurowski. His opera repertoire includes works from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods, including Xbalanque in The Indian Queen by Henry Purcell, Corrado in Griselda by Antonio Vivaldi, David in Saul by George Frideric Handel, Artaserse and Megabise in Artaserse by Leonardo Vinci, Annio and Sesto in La clemenza di Tito by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ratmir in Ruslan and Ludmila by Mikhail Glinka.

In the season 2016/2017 Yuriy Mynenko u.a. in the title role of Handel's opera Rinaldo (Theater Chemnitz), Pergolesi's opera Adriano in Siria (Theater an der Wien), as well as Lel in Snegurochka (Opera de Paris). In the 2017/18 season, Yuriy Mynenko sang at the Teatro Liceu in Barcelona, at the Theater an der Wien and at the Opera de Lausanne, where he made his debut as sesto. In January 2018 Yuriy Mynenko jumped in Rome as a Romeo in Zingarelli's opera Giulietta e Romeo at the Theater an der Wien. He was enthusiastic about the audience and the press.

Future tasks of Yuriy Mynenko are at the Opera de Lyon, the role of Polinesso in a concert tour under the direction of Marc Minkowski, the title role in Handel's Publio Cornelio Scipione at the Festival Göttingen, the voice of Apollo in Death in Venice at the Theater Chatlet, the Opera Zagreb and the Barbican Center London, the role of Ottone in Vinci 's Gismondo re di Polonia in Warsaw and Dortmund, Lel in Snegurotchka at the Opera de Bastille in Paris, and the Nerone in Handel's Agrippina at Royal Operahouse Covent Garden.

Yuriy Mynenko participated in the 'legendary' and multi-award winning CD and DVD production Artaserse, recorded with five countertenors and released on Virgin Classics.
